NEW to SINGING?

Singing has many health benefits

NEW to SINGING?

If you are NEW to singing, or worse still, you were told NOT to sing at any point of your life, or told you had a “bad” voice, or feel you are tone deaf, you are not alone.

Countless people before you have been told the same thing, and are now singing regularly and enjoying the health benefits of singing.

In the same way you do NOT need to be a PROFESSIONAL sports person to do some exercise, you do NOT need to be a professional singer, or have training, or have done it before to sing.

As human beings, we SANG BEFORE we spoke. It is an INTRINSIC PART OF BEING HUMAN, and over the ages, in some cultures, we have closed this side of us down.

As a society, and part of the Singing for Health Network, it is part of our mission to RECLAIM this dormant power of our VOICE, which is within us all.

  1. Tune Up

If you have sung before, you can just rock up to a SINGING FOR HEALTH CHOIR – first session free – and see if it works for you.

Singing for Health has a comprehensive and growing list of choirs here.

If the choir has a “Singing for Health” logo, then the conductor and choir facilitators have been through a Singing for Health training program.
